Privately owned for nearly eight centuries, this château of character today opens its doors to couples seeking a confidential, elegant and well-organised wedding venue.

We deliberately favour human-scale weddings — ideally between 30 and 60 guests, with a maximum capacity of 90 — in order to preserve the balance of the estate and the quality of the experience.

Château de Tournou is for couples who wish to fully live their wedding in a château near Carcassonne, without bearing the organisational burden alone.

At Château de Tournou, we offer complete and bespoke organisation so that you can enjoy your union with total peace of mind.

At Château de Tournou, we do not simply offer a reception venue in Occitanie. We offer complete and bespoke organisation. The exclusive hire includes reception spaces, terraces, lounges as well as the tables and chairs needed for your setup.

Our real difference lies in the support we provide. From the first contact right through to the wedding day, we can assist with project structure, the reverse timeline, vendor coordination, floral decoration, logistical organisation and operational presence on the day itself.

At Château de Tournou, no caterer, DJ or photographer is imposed. You are free to organise your wedding according to your preferences.

Should you wish, we can provide a selection of recognised vendors in the Carcassonne region and throughout Occitanie.

The estate offers several modular reception spaces. A terrace of approximately 200 m², part of which is covered, hosts the key moments of your wedding in an elegant natural setting. The château's lounges offer a refined indoor alternative.

Château de Tournou allows some of your guests to stay directly on the estate. The château has 7 bedrooms, including 3 suites, offering accommodation for 15 guests across 580 m² of interior spaces. Bed linen and bath towels are provided.

This on-site accommodation allows close family and friends — family, witnesses, intimate friends — to stay in a privileged setting, fostering a calm atmosphere throughout the weekend.

Weddings at Château de Tournou often form part of a complete experience: arriving the evening before, getting ready on site, the celebration, then a brunch the following morning.

For additional guests, we can direct you to nearby accommodation options (gîtes, bed-and-breakfasts and hotels around Limoux and Carcassonne).

A structured backup plan is systematically prepared for your wedding in Occitanie. In the event of unfavourable weather, a suitable reception structure can be installed to ensure guest comfort without compromising the aesthetics of the event.
